I am trying to connect my reMarkable2 to the wifi without any joy...
Always get authentication failed when connecting...
I have turned on/off, rebooted, updated, checked the system but always getting that authorisation failed!

It should work with a single 2.4GHz/5GHz SSID, however from a review :
The ReMarkable 2 connects to the internet via a dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi radio; it uses that connection to interact with its companion apps and download software updates. Signal strength is weak, however, and the connection range falls a good 20 feet short of most phones. It struggled to connect to the network through a wall in testing, while the Galaxy S21 and iPhone 13 were both fine in this environment.
Edit - there's also reddit threads (amongst others) with people complaining about the same issue in the USA. Seems to be a common problem with the device.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@JBomb569You can split the Wi-Fi frequencies to try to see if it connects. This can be reversed if it does not work, use the link below to split the Wi-Fi frequencies.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@JBomb569 as @Mr+Slant says there are multiple on line reports of similar issues. Try again with a charger attached closer to the hub as it is a low power device so you need every bit of help you can get, once networked it should work without help.
As a last resort try a factory reset https://support.remarkable.com/s/article/Performing-a-factory-reset but note thecwarningscabout losing files stored onnthe device.
