I have sky tv but not sky broadband.
If i upgrade to a Sky TV / Broadband package.......will sky contact / cancel my existing out of contract ISP (with Now broadband) when they do the switch over or do i have to do that - before or after agreeing with sky?
when I look at the sky upgrade pages on mysky theres nothing about disconnecting or notifying the current ISP provider.
I am out of contract on a rolling deal with my existing broadband provider so guess it should be striaghtforward switch?

As long as both ISPs are on the Openreach network, the gaining ISP contacts the losing ISP so the customer doesn't need to do so.
Note that, weirdly, although Now is actually owned by Sky Group, there have been posts indicating that a Now phone number cannot be carried over to Sky Broadband.
