Cancel the engineer open reach for Broadband fault

The actual fault which was a broadband issue which i add constantly on my sky app for days now Finnally got sorted on bank holiday Monday i already got an engineer visit on Tuesday but I got a text the day he was coming from open reach to  confirm it been fixed do you wish to cancel the appointment i text fixed back to open reach for them to say we can't help you with that have to ring sky to confirm the cancellation so i did that rang sky to say I don't need an engineer for them to say we can't help you so they put me through to a different department for them to say we can't help you as you already got an engineer coming out to today so you have to wait in we can't cancel the appointment as you left it to late in the time slot to do anything  but I didn't know it been fixed because open reach didn't tell me on Monday it been fixed so i get a early morning text to say it's been fixed on the day he was coming open reach should tell you if its been sorted not to leave it till the engineer arrives to say to them its fixed now because its time wasting for them and trying to cancel the appointment just crazy i couldn't cancel the appointment as it was still showing on my app so I just left it because I new he was coming or i could have canceled it if I got a text on Monday early enough

Plus I got a missed call 📞 yesterday which I didn't know I add it was the open reach engineer calling Me
