Me now personally think they have had enough time to investigate this problem were paying for a service we cant use not everybody has data to spare to watch these things yes i understand that its probably a complicated fault but untill today there is no aknowledgement of anything happening now its out there on social media will that be the push they need to do something about it.

Am having the same issue. Having to turn WiFi off to be able to update android apps via the playstore also YouTube is really slow to load and freezes.

Quite a lot of people telling me in Halifax that they're having the same problems with YouTube on iPhone and iPads (obviously they don't use Play Store).

So I don't think this issue is isolated to Android.

Urged then all to raise it with Sky, who need to put a service status alert out about this so that we know it's being taken seriously.

The android issue is with the play store not working. The youtube issues are affecting all devices. It's all linked as both connect back to google services. 

i've also noticed on sky q that a lot of the on demand services aren't showing thumbnails

As well as the issues with play store, I am unable to download programmes to sky box which will be why thumbnails aren't working as you won't be able to watch any content that needs downloading.

@KevNewMedia any news on this now yes i know they need time but this has been going on for a few weeks now and were here paying for something we cant use ??? Sky cant expect that from customers.

He posted an update yesterday morning

The issue is still being worked on at a high level.  As soon as I know more, I'll update everyone here."

Engineer just rang me. It's a known issue, they're working on a fix. I think the message has finally got through and these things aren't always as simple as flicking a switch to fix, especially if it's across organisations. At least it's acknowledged now, just hoping it'll be fixed soon, it's still useful to get the message out so people don't spend hours trying to fix their devices to no avail.

@Skymouse thank you for that my reason for askingfor an update even tho there was 1 yesterday is because this morn some 1 rang me on my complaint and still wanted me to change settings and everything which i refused after advisor sending me a message yest they had aknowledged problem so thank u for your update.
