I use a third party router and it *does* affect me  I have reverted to a factory reset sky router and its still an issue - i guess you are lucky not to be affected.

Maybe it is certain areas of West Yorkshire. I am in BD22.

Hello All

I'm having the same issue . I use youtube at least 3 times a week for several.hours to listen to music . Since the 16th youtube though sky box and mobile phone via WiFi buffering badly and at times hardly works at all. 

Sky please sort it

@KevNewMedia if thats the case why dont anyone on the helplines know about it and were having to have engineers out geuine question because at moment were paying out for something we cant use ... just like the talk shield thats not worked for over a year thats now forgotten about sorry to ask.

I totally understand everyone's frustration and apologise for this. 

I suspect my colleagues initially hadn't realised that it was a wider issue; they will only speak to one customer with this problem, or none at all. The contact centre handles thousands of calls daily and advisors support more than one product.

@KevNewMedia thank you for your reply i honestly find these threads invaluable unlike the operator i spoke to yest morn who told me there only customer to customer based and mean nothing !!!  Hopefully its fixed soon because its mega fustrating and costing money having to use mobile data all time.

I am having the same google play / youtube problem as many others in the West Yorkshire area (ossett). I have contacted sky with a detailed account of the issue and have received the same generic answer as other customers have. I have now had to resort to going to Costa to use their WiFi (which works perfectly well) so that I can update my phone and tablet on the google play app. Great work Sky on delivering a first class service. My monthly subscription is being well spent - NOT!
