Having the exact same issue. Shield is off, download speed is fine, however anything Google related seems to not work. No youtube, can't update apps.
This needs looking into!

I'm also having the same issue, I can't update nor can I download any apps from Google Store neither
My PC and my tablet have the same issue so there must be something wrong with Sky Broadband because it only happened a few days ago

Exactly sake issue as well & also West Yorkshire located. Happens same on my partner & sons phone. Clearly some issue with Sky as mobile data works fine. Spent ages on phone, received a new router today and yep you guessed it still same issue. Using up all my mobile data & extremely frustrating

I can understand how frustrating this must be and apologise for the inconvenience. I've escalated the problem to our support teams and as soon as I have some more information, I'll update everyone.

So we have to put up with this forever?
I don't understand how it cant be the equipment. I have done everything from resetting the router, to uninstall uninstalling apps. Then it won't download any after.
Only way I can download or update is by using a mobile hot-spot. Everything was fine until about a week ago. So I just don't understand it. I have also different phones also with the same problem

If multiple people are having the same issue then it can't be isolated to individuals equipment surely?

I would encourage people to raise complaints - rather than relying on this forum
Suggesting its "just your equipment" is such a cop out
