Can’t update or download apps over sky wifi but can using mobile data

I have tried everything like resetting the tv/wifi, I have an LG B4 tv and it doesn't let me download or update apps using WiFi even though the download speed is 500mbps. But using a mobile hotspot it works. I have a sky hub 4.2 but it seems like it is blocking downloads and updates of apps on my tv?

@Louis4787 Have you checked what your Broadband Shield settings are at?

Hi, yeah, yesterday I tried with the shield disabled but didn't seem to work still

@Louis4787 Takes about 24hrs for the shield software to filter through and take effect.

Oh ok thanks will try that. Is it safe for me to just fully turn it off and leave it off then?

@Louis4787 I have an older LG TV which happily updates over a Sky Broadband connection and there are definitely no issues reported generally. As a start I would reboot the TV by switching the power off until the power led goes out then restart it which often clears bugs. If it doesnt I would reset the network settings on the TV.

Hi, thanks, yeah it's a weird one. Have tried resetting the tv fully, resetting WiFi, fiddling with the WiFi settings on my tv etc but nothing seems to work. When I connect to a mobile hotspot from my phone on my tv I can download and update them fine... talked to lg and they said it's a broadband issue and not an issue with a tv, it seems like the WiFi is blocking that for some reason
