Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Barby66 if the lights on your hub are showing it is connected (https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start) but no data is flowing the recommended fix is to power down the hub for at least an hour to force a reconnection at Sky's end. Alternstively as a temporary fix you could try adding a public DNS service to the network settings on your laptop. Navigate to the the Network settings for the Sky connection find the DNS line set thst to manual and add the following sddresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 which are Google's public DNS service which should enable you to reach the internet on that device.
One note you buy a domestic servicecfrom Sky the fact you use it for business is your choice doesn't change that status so it is wise to have a fall back plan as in the case of line faults the SLA is a fix 2 full working days after the report.
