Can't place new broadband order.
I'm a new customer trying to place an order for broadband. I'm using a third party website for the gift card which redirects me to Sky. When choosing place order I always get the msg orde can't be completed because of technical issues. Is this a known issue? I'm abroad atm. Could this be why?

@Tregan there can be complications thst require you to speak to an adviser before an order will go through. Typically it can be a switch to the voice line is switching to digital which requires you to confirm you do not have any personal alarms etc but it can be any of a number of things. Unfortunstely you will almost certainly lose the third party gift.

It could be because you are outside UK and using UK address. I went through 3rd party website and placed the order few months . My £80 giftcard came though last week. I also got £40 cashback from "Topcashback" for the same order.
Go via"Topcashback" account and navigate to Telecoms and choose "Uswitch". A new window will open and using that complete the order without any interuptions so everything goes smooth.
The current perks have increased and currently showing £85 giftcard for both 150Mbs and 500Mbs and further £60 cashback.
BTW..the terms of the giftcard reads must complete online...you will missout on gifts if you speak to Sky customer servicer so best to wait till you return UK as its a decent amount of rewards that can be used for things like a Wi-Fi Mesh system or better Router😊
