Can't login to router - 401 Unauthorised

I have a Sky Q hub which is a bit unreliable (needs rebooting every few days, sometime certain devices won't connect at all) so am trying to get some diagnostic information to see what is happening.

I'm able to see basic information at http://192.168.0.1/sky_index.html but when i try any of the links i get the 401 Unauthorised error.

I've tried clicking the "Logout" link and accessing it from an Incognito/InPrivate window from both Chrome and MS Edge but it didn't help.

I'm not prompted for a username or password, just get the 401 error.

Strangely it does work ok from safari on my phone.

Quite likely, yes the company I am with has similar security policies set

Might be worth factory resetting the hub & clearing cache/cookies on your browser

Have you got some sort of popup blocker running?

No 3rd party extensions, but did have the native Chrome security setting set to disable popups.

I've set it to allow popups but hasn't made a difference.

The other strange thing is that when i click "Log Out" on http://192.168.0.1/sky_index.html nothing happens, but when i enter the URL http://192.168.0.1/sky_logout.html directly in the address bar i get to a page saying "You are now logged out from the Sky Hub" but still don't get prompted for credentials when i go back in.

Is it just that device? I know you said it works on an Apple device using safari, what about any other PC/Phone?

It does seem to be just this device (work laptop) ... i've booted up an old laptop and it works fine on that so maybe it is some browser/network security policy that our admins have set.
