Can’t get my pc to connect to the booster

I have been having issues with broadband connection in a single room in my house, engineer been out and simply said remove security on the hub. We now have a sky booster for the signal which connects to every device but my sons gaming pc. Any idea why this won't connect as the engineer wasn't much help.
