Can't get catch up channels,no apps on screen

Can't get catch up channels no apps so have to go round the houses to get it! Broadband checker says there is a issue but everything is fine and checker says fine!It comes and goes! I have turned off and on! But doesn't make a difference! It sorts itself out, then goes again! Other things like my phone and tablet has internet ok! I have all three green lights on !
