I used to have sky at my old address which I left 2 years ago to move into my parents home while I relocated to their area. I'm moving into my own place next week and want to rejoin sky TV and broadband. However when it searches for my offers it assumes I'm at the same address as I used to be even though my bills show the account is closed. When I click try a different post ode, it doesn't let me put one in and just searches for the old address again. The bot did manage to stumble on a very particular page which DID allow me to put in the post ode of my new property.... Only to get an error message, no matter how many different days and times I have tried now. It's almost as if Sky doesn't want my money!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhen joining you need to make sure you are not signed in with your previous account as that will have been closed after you left Sky.
So when placing the order you should be ask to set up a new one. If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:
https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details
Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID.
