I have the black sky Q router hub and I an unable to connect to my company's VPN over Wi-Fi. All my other devices connect with any issue. But when I try and connect to Wi-Fi on my laptop I get a message that says "no internet, secured". I can connect via a phone hotspot. I connected my IT department who checked all the devices settings and confirmed they are all ok. I can connect to Wi-Fi when I in the office. So this confirms that the Wi-Fi settings do work. I called sky and was told to add the VPN address to my exceptions list on Broadband Shield, which I have done. But again I can't connect to Wi-Fi on my laptop. There are a few messages about router settings, but I am getting mixed messages when I call sky. All I need is what setting to change and where so I can connect. Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis could be caused by Sky using MAP-T on your line. The quickest way to solve is to enable UPnP on your Sky hubs settings.

@Paul_B while enabling UPnP wont hurt it shouldn't make any difference. Can you post which VPN software your company is using?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@jamesn123 no issue. If you want an oddity the Ubquiti Dream Machine is a right pain it says it supports DHCPv6 Option 95 but acrually doesn't. Apparently its been like that for 8 years! 😀
