Can't connect some devices / multiple hub names

My sky hub (the white one) is connected to my sky box via an ethernet cable. Now, when I set this up, I do so via the option of through a wired connection. At first, it connects to a different hub name. I don't understand how that is possible when it's connected via cable. And then after a little time, it switches to the correct hub name. Then, intermittently, it will still be connected but say there is no Internet available. And I also have trouble connecting around 3 of my devices. Things have been running fine until today.

@Ross1818 dont eorry about the name the Q box gives it is a quirk of the way the Q boxes work that when connected to a non Sky Q compatible router which includes the white Sky Max hubs.

It would be wise to turn off the Q box's wifi if you do not have any Q minis. This is done using the engineers menu which is opened by navigating to Settings but entering 0,0,1before select.

Your devices can no longer connect via the Q box's WiFi hot spot which maybecwhy you are having issues instead they have to connect to the hub which maybe too far away.
