Can't connect broadband

Hi, I've recently joined sky broadband. Apparently everything was sorted for the 3rd. It's now the 6th. The sky Wi-Fi box is plugged in there. Is the power cable going into the back as well as the wire to connect to my internet line?, I only have two lights and according to the TV the router cannot connect to the internet.... I have no clue what's going on. I've tried putting the wires in different ways. I'm stumped. I've tried the yellow box at the back of the Wi-Fi box. I've tried box 1 and box 4 nothing

@Grimmm66 What is the activation date for the Broadband, you will NOT get anything until that date, and Port 4 is where the cable needs to be, furthest on the right as you look at the back off the hub!

@Grimmm66 call Sky if the hub is not connecting and the activation date has passed.

 

The package the hub came in should have a leaflet with clear instructions of how to set up the connection which will vary according to the type of service Sky will provide.  A partial fibre service uses one type of cable the newer full fibre service uses a different set up. Sky know which service you are getting so can give you advice over the phone if you are stuck.
