Can't change Sky Sheild settings (We’re sorry - there has been a problem)

Hello,

I'm a new Sky customer using the Sky Wifi Max router and I can't change the settings of Broadband Shield, either via browser on in the MySky app. Keep getting this error message: We're sorry - there has been a problem. I've seen many posts from users that have the same issues yet I've been unable to find a solution.

This is an issue for me as I work from home and regularly use 2 VPNs that I may need to add exceptions for. Anyone have any advice as to what I can do to get access to these settings? I don't have a landline phone so unable to call Sky on 150.

@Chrish360 if you still cannot change the settings this morning - Sky's systems take time to update so it is worth trying once more - you will have to call them go through id checks and get their help. Lines open from around 8am and if you Sky Talk phone is working use that and dial 150 for a free call.

Managed to get through to the automated service on my mobile this morning and sorted the issue with them.

I am currently getting the same message when trying to change my sky broadband shield.

 

Any idea?

 

The only answer I can find is I may have an order or I am changing my broadband.

 

I have neither.
