Can’t Split WiFi band on Max Hub

Hi

Does anyone know what I can do about splitting WiFi bands on the new Max Hub. It's telling me I'm not able to do it! This now means all our smart tvs, smart plugs, smart lights etc in the house can't connect and I can keep disabling the band everytime I want to use my tv or turn my lights on

@Dangermouse74

The Max Hub doesn't support splitting and renaming wireless bands.

@Dangermouse74 although you have to disable the 5GHz band to intially connect IOT devices they should remain connected when re-enable the 5GHz. Have never heard of a smart TV that can only connect to a 2.4GHz band the usual problem between the white hub and TVs (especially Samsung TVs) is they need the WiFi security setting on the hub reduced from WPA3-T to WPA2 so trybthat which may also help the smart plugs etc as well. The setting is linked from the same Advanced settings area as the WiFi networking in yhe My Sky app.

If your devices definitely wontstay connected talk to Sky as you may nave to be switched to the older bllack Sky hubs but in the vast majority of cases it is not necessary.
