Can I switch over to the virgin fibre for my sky service? As they ran new fibre to the house

My current sky broadband is via the old telephone line. VIRGIN Media have ran fibre to the house. Can I get sky broadband via the virgin cabke

No, Sky use either the old copper pair phone lines or fibre to the premises (if available). FTTP would use Openreachs network still and would require a new cable ran to the house.

 

Edit: there are other options re. Openreach but it amounts to the same thing.

Only Virgin Media or an ISP which has a distribution deal with Virgin can use that connection.
