Can I keep my analogue phone line if I upgrade to fi re

If I upgrade to full fire broadband can I choose to keep my existing phone line to support care alarms?

@GRAHAM6664  If it full Fibre FTTP then no, you can't keep a seperatre analogue phone line.  You should be aware analogue lines are being discontinued so your care alarm provider needs to be making plans to upgrade their services to work off Fibre or Mobile connections.

@GRAHAM6664

Depends what type of connect the care alarm needs.

When moving to FTTP you'll be provisioned with a phone through the router over VOIP, your existing copper cabling will no longer function.

Basically no: since September 2023 all ISP upgrades and switches are now subject to stop-sell of PSTN service.
