I have Virgin Media Broadband and TV already in my home, but want to get broadband with Sky in addition to this.
Is it possible / allowed?

Virgin only uses its own private coaxial (sometimes optical) cabling, while Sky uses the national Openreach network.
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.
