Can I get a refund when my broadband wasn't cancelled

I switched to youfibre in Oct 24 and have still been paying sky broadband. I thought they cancelled for me, so sky hasn't received a cancellation. Can I get a refund.

i moved house Feb 25 and only youfibre registered at this address.
I'd been through chemotherapy previously and still suffering the effects of brain fog. I don't know who's error this was.
youfibre told me they'd switch and pay any cancellation fee.

@Sian67 It is highly unlikely and you are nearly a year on now, all you can do is raise this with your current provider first, and then see what sky say to you when you do give them a call!

@Sian67  City fibre can't pay your bill directly as that would breach data protection laws

you are liable to pay sky then claim back from city fibre
