CATO VPN bypassing Sky Shield

Good afternoon,

I hope anyone can assist me.

My sons (16yo) laptop has a VPN from CATO installed. This is bypassing Sky Shield and I have followed guides and watched videos to try but he is able to bypass the shield as if it's not there.  He did have SurfShark installed and that was successfully blocked.

Is there a way that VPNs can be blocked with Sky Shield?

Currently all online guides have failed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Vagrantsurfer trying to keep ahead of a tech savvy teenager is going to be almost impossible unfortunately as Broadband Shield is a basic filter based at best and is quite easy to defeat. There are numerous pages on the internet giving instructions on how to defeat the Shield using a VPN! Adding these sites to the block list usually doesnt work as the VPN bypases the Sky DNS service.

Unfortunately Sky are dumping the far better Broadband Buddy parental control app which was harder to defeat. You can buy third party parental control systems thst you install on his laptop but again most kids will get round those if minded to. At least console yourself your son is learning highly marketable skills in getting tound your restrictions.
