Buying advice. Sky Q, fibre broadband. Mini boxes

Hi all.
after some advice really please.
I'm currently on sky bb non fibre. With a fatally good wired connection. I have 3 mini boxes spread around the house and I can get about 30 mbps on each of the boxes at the moment. I'm thinking of upgrading to fiber.

Am I correct in thinking that because I have the sky q mini boxes the ports on the back of the new router would be limited to 100mbps? - and hence I'd be wasting my money upgrading to fiber with the technology sky currently offer - if I wanted to keep the sky mini boxes and change nothing else in my setup?

many thanks in advance.

John.

The ports on the rear of the router will still get 1000mbps links no problem as they are not affected by the Q gear. The issue people have is when you have a device wired to the Q box or mini box, this is where the speed gets limited.
