Hi all.
after some advice really please.
I'm currently on sky bb non fibre. With a fatally good wired connection. I have 3 mini boxes spread around the house and I can get about 30 mbps on each of the boxes at the moment. I'm thinking of upgrading to fiber.
Am I correct in thinking that because I have the sky q mini boxes the ports on the back of the new router would be limited to 100mbps? - and hence I'd be wasting my money upgrading to fiber with the technology sky currently offer - if I wanted to keep the sky mini boxes and change nothing else in my setup?
many thanks in advance.
John.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe ports on the rear of the router will still get 1000mbps links no problem as they are not affected by the Q gear. The issue people have is when you have a device wired to the Q box or mini box, this is where the speed gets limited.
