Hi All,
i have 500mb fibre installed approximately theee weeks ago. Also swapped out the router for the new one sky sent me at the same time
i have the router wired to a UniFi switch and three access points arranged to the switch. WiFi on the sky router is turned off.
Before moving to full fibre everything worked fine. Since getting full fibre anew new router buffering is terrible on both wired and wireless devices.
sky tech support have been helpful and checked the line, and the router and escalated to a technical department. The only think they say is that 'there are wired devices trying to authenticate with the router' I couldn't get any further details from them, and there advice was to reset the router and try everything again, and have a follow up call on Wednesday.
I have asked them to send me a new router to test, as that's the only thing to change in my setup, but wondered if anyone else could provide any advice.
