Building contractors have lost our sky broadband hub. How do i replace ? Is there a generic alternative? To be clear we have nothing now.

Surely it's not something they'd chuck in a skip without asking the householder first.

You will need to call Sky to arrange a replacement. Depending on which hub it was you may be charged a non return fee for the original as per this link
