Hi
i have had no internet access since 28th December (6 days). The orange light on the internet of my Sky broadband router is on. I did the test via the MySky app and it said there's an outage on my area and would take a couple of days. I left it due to the holidays but still no progress. I rang sky and as soon as I selected option to talk about broadband I got an automated message stating they were aware of an issue in my area and were working on it. It also said operators would have no more info so please allow us to text you when finished. I guess I need to be patient but is there anything else I can do as no internet for a week is not really good enough. I switched from BT and had no issues, but this is the 2nd multi day outage I've had in 12 months. Any other options to try would be welcome. Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf there is an outage in your area then you are at the mercy of Openreach to fix it so there is nothing you can do to get it fixed any quicker.
You can claim compensation by the way of a credit that will be applied to your account when it is fixed, as this credit will be used to help pay a future bill (it will not be refunded to you). This link explains how it works:
