Dear Sky Team,
I’m interested in joining Sky Broadband and have a few questions before proceeding:
1) Is there a 30-day satisfaction guarantee in case the broadband signal is not acceptable at my address after installation?
2) If I move to a new home during the 24-month contract period, what is the process for transferring the broadband service to the new address? Will there be any additional charges?
3) In the event that the new address has poor or unacceptable signal quality, would I be allowed to cancel the contract without penalty?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Bernice

You have a cooling off period to cancel once the services go active and would only be charged for services used up to the cease
if you move home and the same services are available at the new address then it's a continuation of the original contract. If it's a different product then it's a new contract at the new address with no penalty or charges for changing
if you move within contract and choose not to move the broadband then you would be charged early termination charges
depends on the package but if speed to the house is not up to the minimum speed guaranteed then you can cancel with no penalty

We were informed by staff on here (albeit nearly 3 years ago)…
"Moving home will not impact your TV contract, it will continue as normal. If you have phone and broadband however, this will be a new contract as we have to cancel the line at the current address and take a new one in the new address."

Re: Broadband transfer to a new address within 24 months contract
Yeah that was a common misconception a few years ago
but the system they now use to book a home move works it out automatically now
general rule of thumb a home move is a continuation of your existing services at a new address only new contracts if changes are made ie upgrading from part to full fibre with a higher speed or changing from q to stream/ glass

Re: Broadband transfer to a new address within 24 months contract
if the broadband speed at my new address is faster and qualifies for a higher monthly plan, so I then be required to start a new 24-month contract at the higher rate? Thanks

Re: Broadband transfer to a new address within 24 months contract
Just to clarify, is your response an official reply from Sky? I'm new to the Sky community and would appreciate confirmation.
Also, if the broadband speed at my new address is faster and qualifies for a higher monthly plan, would I then be required to start a new 24-month contract at the higher rate? Thanks
