Just had a open reach engineer out to check why our broadband is running slow (51mb/s). As we are on super fast we should achieve something like 60 - 80 mb/s. End result was your getting the maximum speed because your more than 300 meters from the cabinet. Has anyone else experienced this.

Find out more@Terry552 I would ask Sky to get openreach out again looking at the screenshot the lowest that you are supposed to get even on a impacted line is 55mb/s and you are on 51mb/s. So looks like that engineer did not want to do more than just the basics and get out of there.

It's the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed quoted initially by Sky which counts though, rather than those BT Wholesale figures.

Hi
On the Sky speed check our gaurenteed speed should be 54 mp/s. So still a little short but not sure how much difference 3mp/s would make.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Terry552It is showing that you are below the minimum that you are supposed to expect from your line. If you were getting higher than this before then it needs to be looked into.
