Wondered if anyone could help.
I undortunstely live in an area where I'm only able to have super fast, despite this I usually get 30/40mbps which is enough for online gaming and working from home with teams calls etc.
Shortly before Christmas a sky engineer visited as our speeds went down to the low teens and he subsequently fitted a new master socket and following that an open reach engineer did some work on the box on our street, wallah, issue sorted.
Fast forward to this week, on Monday an open reach engineer visited again, said he couldn't spot in an issue inside our home, did some work outside and we were back up to 40's.
Yesterday and today I'm back at low teens again and the speeds are agonisingly slow. I can't even run a teams call without it lagging and online gaming is a no go, even with the console hard wired.
I have tried everything but pulling my hair out at this stage. Another engineer is visiting Monday but I don't hold much hope.
help please!

For us to better understand what's going on we need to know how you are measuring speeds, is it via the broadband test here - Service Checker | Sky.com

By bother hardwiring and using Speedtest.net via my laptop and also by Wi-Fi on my phone.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt sounds like the engineers are just coming and resetting DLM which works fine until DLM does its retraining overnight. The core of the problem is likely unresolved and probably on the run between your cabinet and home address. It can be difficult to find the problem, especially in a rural setting.
