Broadband speed slow on ethernet and Wifi, but ok to hub

Noticed broadband speeds had dropped from 25-30Mbps to 0.3-3MBps. Speed to the hub was low too. Have a family member who works for open reach who checked the line and found a fault. We identified was a problem with master socket so have repaired that and briefly got a speed of 28Mbps after a line reset after the repair. Within 5 mins though speed back to 0.3-3MBps, however speed to the hub is now running at 31Mbps suggesting the problem is from the hub onwards.

Have reset the router settings, disconnected all devices and tried it on 3 different devices individually, both on Wifi and ethernet wired connections and all are still only getting a max of 3Mbps despite the speed to the hub running at 31Mbps and no faults identified on the 'line'. Have tried renaming the wifi, changing passwords, factory reset on router, even with a single device connected - it is the same wired via ethernet to the router or on Wifi, with multiple devices, tested one connection at a time only. Have also tried a different microfilter with the router but no difference.

These are my router stats. Any other ideas? Thankssky router stats.png

@Schuey87

The router stats don't show a clear fault in fact the stats show one is doing well with the speed considering the distance to the fibre cabinet at about just over a kilometre.

If you continue to have throughput speed issues over a wired ethernet connection suggest you enquire about replacing the router which may be faulty.

Re: Broadband speed slow on ethernet and Wifi, but ok to hub

Thanks. Also tried a different DNS, and wired Ethernet connection with all Wi-Fi disabled on the router and no other devices connected which yielded the same results. Have spoken to sky and they are sending out a new router, fingers crossed that fixes it.
