Broadband speed slow and disconnecting

Internet is going off 2 or 3 times per day and every time resetting my WiFi devices and knocking off myy cctv which is a serious security risk

wifi speed has never been above 34mb download from the start and was asked to allow 12 days to settle in but still not increased which is causing buffering when I'm streaming online

inwas guaranteed a higher minimum speed which hasn't been the case

I understood sky to be the best for my broadband but it just does not work in my area as can also see other complaints online, I have 2 autistic children who rely on the internet and this service is simply just not adequate for their needs

@Carlhowarth run the service checker in the My Sky app as if the speed to the hub is not meeting the guaranteedd speed it should offer further help. If, however the speed is OK tgen the issue is likely to be poor wifi signal in your home which depends on the layout and type of construction of your home.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
