Broadband speed is horrendous

My broad band speed is horrendous, cannot even use 1 mobile phone connected to it, had constant problems since joining sky , never get any help of sky at all. 
carnt even use wattsapp let alone my sons VR or PS5 . I'm literally for broadband and having to use my data on my phone .
