Broadband speed is bad
Hi ever since we had our new broadband set up the speed hasn't been great but recently it's got a lot worse! We live in a 2 bedroom flat and you can't even get on the internet from the kitchen and if we are using the glass tv and 2 mobile phones the speed is painfully slow. I work from home and my laptop constantly loses connection every day.

Re: Broadband speed is bad
@catoc if your flat is in a building with solid internal walls, as many are, WiFi can be a complete pain as the internal walls reduce the signal from your hub in rooms away from where it is so the signal from your neighbours' wifi systems can be as strong or stronger. One solution is to get a booster but unless there is a hallway midway where the signal from the hub is higher to position it that is unlikely to help thst much. One thing that might assuming the devices are in one room is to buy a powerline networking kit which uses adapters to send the data over the mains cables and either connect the devices by ethernet to the adapter (especially the Glass TV) or buy the type with built-in wifi access point.
