Broadband speed is appalling and the connection is dropping ever 3/4 hours

For the last week the connection has been dropping consistently and the speed have been very low at times under 10 MB. I don't think this is acceptable having paid for the 500 MB package

@hw98 how is the device you are running the test on networked by WiFi or by an Ethernet cable? If WiFi is it in the same room as the hub or further away? While Sky guarantee spedds to the hub the same guarantee does not apply to speds at the device as the wifi signal in your home is not something they can control. Check the Service Cheker in the My Sky app which will tell you the speed to your hub. If tgat as is likely OK read on.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
