Broadband slow since the 24th

Hey all,

 

Can you please advise on the below. I am on a ultrafast plus contract which is 500mb download and 30/50mb upload. Since Tuesday the upload hasn't went above 0.01 and is usually at 0.00. I called sky and asked for an engineer to be sent out but they sent a new router. The new router arrived and the same issue persists. I called again today asking for someone to be sent out and they are now sending out a booster instead of a engineer. I have been with sky for nearly 12 months on FTTH and never needed a booster in the past. Can you please look at the stats and see if you can spot what the issue might be. The router stats won't even pull back a connection speed since Tuesday. More often than not since Tuesday I can't even open the speedtest.net side nevermind run it. Thanks in advance,

Hello @DarrenW1

 

All the stats show is that your connected by 5ghz WiFi.

 

Can you connect to a laptop or computer with a ethernet cable, and run the speed test again.

Was your problem ever resolved? I am having the same issue, 2 or 3 days now. My computer is so slow that it took 2 minutes to load Sky help and it takes hours to download a single file. Any advice from tech team?

Hey all, 

 

Does any one have any further suggestions on what to do. Sky sent out a booster and it is connected up but the issue is worse than ever. Sky have now sent out a new router and a booster and I can't even load up a speedtest to complete whether I am connected directly to the router or on the WiFi. Issue is now going on for 8 whole days.
