@Martin_witham to stream video tge TV or streaming box neds a strady data feed so if it is connected by WiFi the problem is likely to be a poor wifi signal in your home. WiFi is affected by interference which will get worse if your neighbours are using their networks. If you install a Wi`Fi analyzer appmon your phone that will show all of the networks in range with the signal strength and channel used. This issue can be particukarly bad in blocks of flats where it is not unusual to have more than 8 networks competing for space.

Ideally use ethernet cables to stream video but where thst isnt practical you can pay to get better wifi kit but this is like arms escalation you buy a whole home wifi set up which screws up your neighbour's WiFi so they upgrade. If tge streamer is a fair way from your hub look into using powerline networking adapters which use tge mains wiring to carry thecdata.

Re: Broadband poor can't watch Disney

Thanks for your advice, spoke to sky and went through the diagnostic procedure and they are sending me a new router.

Re: Broadband poor can't watch Disney

No broadband cuts out around 11pm every day.  All sky boxes disconnect and have to turn everything off and repower back on,

@Martin_witham does the loss of connection coincide with something in your home  like your heating system turning off? There is nothing in the hub or ithe kit managing the line which could cause a regular loss of connection at a fixed time hence checking if somerthing nesr by is causing interference a sparking switch is one possible cause or a dodgy microwave can do it.
