Broadband outage since 15th December 2023

Broadband outage since 15th December 2023. New router didn't fix the issue. Openreach eventuallyvstste it's a quick fix but we need to order a part. Multiple emails and I eventually get informed there are unforeseen repair issues and it will be repaired as soon as possible.
uttetly atrocious customer service. Sky customer for almost 20yrs. I work from home at times where childcare is an issue, I know this isn't something that will make Sky put in extra effort however the impact is serious. My children also need broadband for homework. Why is this not taken seriously by Sky?

@Paulytwolivers

Where fault resolution lies with Openreach, there's nothing an ISP can do to hurry them.

Unfortunately Openreach won't have been working on any individual domestic broadband faults for seven out of the past ten days: that's just down to the time of year.

Thanks for the reply, however considering what I pay and the fact that I have seen Openreach engineers out and about it seems as though it isn't taken seriously. It's now the 3rd Jan and still no broadband

@Paulytwolivers you may think you pay a lot but try buying a business line with a high support level they can literally cost thousands. Openreach will have had teams working over the holiday but not repairing domestic lines. You will be due compensation see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
