Broadband not working

We have just moved into a new property and got sky broadband, with the sky max hub. Issue is it's not working correctly. The hub has a white light (as it is supposed to). And can connect to our phones (although it drops in and out, signal strength is considered excellent, but speeds are not). However no other devices even pick up the wifi name, and if by some miracle they do, it drop almost instantly or is ridiculously slow. We can't stream anything on any TV, or play games. I can't for the life of me work out what the issue is. I try test it on the website, and it says we only have 1.6mbs download speed, I go through all the troubleshooting and nothing works. Feel like I have tried everything. I know the area we are in might not have the best speeds but to not be able to stream anything isn't right so I'm not sure what's wrong. The people before us has sky so it must have worked for them. Any help is really appreciated! At my wits end with it!
