Broadband not meeting the minimum speed

My broadband has not met the minimum speed of 27 and I keep going through the process of fixing the problem with giving distance for the hub and what not. The thing is we don't have full fibre in the area and would be good to have specially for my gaming as downloading games takes hours.

Maximum speed 36Mas with a guarantee of 17-20Mbps (handback) threshold).  So its possible openreach themselves have downgraded the speed possibly due to line not been economically viable to fix.  As you are over the guarantee theres not much can be done

Openreach aim to have 85% of UK addresses within reach of FTTP by the end of 2026: that's what they define as the 'commercially viable' rollout.  There's currently no explicit plan for the remaining few million properties but 4G and 5G is expected to make up most of the gap, possibly with satellite covering the rest.
