Broadband not connecting. Amber light on router.

I came home today too find my broadband is not working. 

 

I have checked all the connections. Rebooted the router and tried a different router. 

 

Still no broadband connection. The Sky Service checker says my router is not connected. But it is and it's turned on. 

 

Is anyone aware of problems in Chester?

Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

Thanks for the replies. 

 

It ended up that we had been connected to somebody else's broadband in the cabinet.
