Broadband not activated on go live date

My broadband has still not been activated, even though my activation date was yesterday. I received a text yesterday morning confirming that my broadband and talk services would be activated before midnight, and that I would receive a follow-up text once the process was complete. However, it’s now the following morning and I’ve had neither activation nor any update.

As the activation was meant to be carried out remotely, could you advise on what might be causing the delay and how this can be resolved as soon as possible? I’ve already been waiting several weeks.

@BC_1295 you are not talking to Sky by posting in the forum which is a customer-to customer channel. Issues can arise which prevent a planned activation Sky should have received a report overnight from Openreach as to why your's failed so give them a call to find out what id happening.

I was meant to have Broadband on 11th August.   Since then Openreach have been 3 times, tell me I need a pole (!).  Can't get updates from them  - they tell me to contact my provider (Sky) and Sky chat is not working..  Can't find out when I am going to get my broadband

connected.
