Broadband is working but won’t connect to sky q.

I have tried several times to connect to sky q to get my mini box working but it won't connect.

i have done the WPS button several times but no success. Never had a problem before.

even tried the option another provider, selected my box, entered password but says password is wrong (it's not).

Hello, @Carwyn2

I understand how frustrating it can be when technology doesn’t work as expected. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the connection issues with your Sky Q Mini box:

Network Reset on the Mini Box: Go to the Mini Box’s Home -> Settings -> Setup -> Network. Highlight ‘Status’ and then select ‘Reset’ on the right-hand side. Follow the instructions to WPS with the nearest Q device.

Reboot Your Main Sky Q Box: Press ‘Standby’ on your Sky Q remote, switch off and unplug at the mains. Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear and the front LED to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 seconds before pressing ‘Home’ on your Sky Q Remote.
Check Standby Mode: Ensure that your Sky Q Mini box is not in Active or Eco mode. You can adjust this by selecting ‘None’ under ‘Standby’ mode settings.
WiFi Extenders: If you’re using third-party WiFi extenders, they can affect the connection between your Hub and your Q Box. If you have a Sky Broadband Hub, it’s programmed to prioritize connection to your Q box. Consider turning off or replacing your WiFi extender.
Check Password: Double-check the password you’re entering. Sometimes, characters can be easily mistaken for others, such as a zero for the letter ‘O’, or vice versa.

I hope my suggestion is helpful for you.
