I have checked my router statistics and they report 65Mb down and 20Mb up, however when doing any kind of speed test, it will hover around 10Mbps, then slowly go up to around 20Mbps, but it never actually reaches the full 65Mbps.
If I'm downloading content, it will eventually get up to the full speed, but any kind of web page browsing feels sluggish.
I have ran the Sky diagnostics and it hasn't found any issues with the broadband or WiFi.
I have the same problem on a wired and wireless connection so it is not the router's position that is the issue.
This only started happening over the last few days, and my account is about 2 months old now so Sky shouldn't be running any more tests on the line at this stage I would have imagined.

Here is a speed test on a wired connection. It only just got to 32Mbps right at the end, it starts at about 9 and very slowly crept up to 32. It can't seem to get a fast connection unless the connection has been open for a while.
Here are my router statistics

Hi @jamesn123, how do the router stats look? Can you see anything that might be an issue?
This is causing really slow internet browsing, and it's difficult to get a response from Sky.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour router stats dont suggest a problem at all so this looks to be a throughput issue. You'll likely need to contact Sky and report a throughput problem rather than a line problem.
