Broadband is very intermittent

Our broadband has been occasionally been very intermittent for the last few months. Usually what happens is that we have the intermittent issue, I get an openreach person to come out and they fiddle with the main box for the village and check our box and it works. Last time Openreach came out three weeks ago, he had a look at it and sods law it was fine at the time so he couldn't do much other than reset the box but he suggested we upgrade to Fibre which we are doing. Unfortunately that has meant that I cannot get an openreach person to come out and look at our current issues as "we already have an engineer booked". In the meantime, I've tried changing the channel, resetting the router to factory settings, Sky has sent out a new router and still we get no more than about 20 minutes of consistent internet connection from about 8am to 7pm (better in evenings although not always).  I'm hoping someone on here will have a suggestion that will help me get to Friday while trying to work from home.

Can anyone help me please?!

I can't post a picture but below are my router statistics:

@Hbrazel  When is fibre supposed to be put into your property?

Re: Broadband is very intermittent

On Friday, so 3 days time. I'm ideally just wondering if there's something I can do in the meantime. Everytime the internet cuts out it is the WAN port on the router statistics. I'm not sure what that means.

@Hbrazel  That is the connection itself and Openreach will not come out if you are getting fibre installed within the next few days and with the change over these problems will just go away moving to FTTP.

Re: Broadband is very intermittent

Yeah I get that openreach won't come out but was just hoping there was something I could do to make it more reliable but if it's external then my hands are tied. Okay so basically I'm just going to have to wait it out as there's nothing I can do to make it more reliable.

@Hbrazel  If the disconnections are happening only every so often and you have discounted that it is something in the property and it is external there is little that can be done with only 2 full days till your FTTP install.

I take it all wires have been checked and seated properly.
