Broadband dropping during online gaming

So during online games recently my connection has been really poor. It's okay usually to start with, but usually drops out or I have awful lag for almost every game I play. What's weird is that when it's okay it's great, ping is 30ish not a problem, then it will have these moments where it drops and is unplayable before returning to normal. I have tried resetting the hardware and the hub, whenever I check connection through MySky it says everything is fine, nothing seems to fix the issue
