Broadband down repeatably today in TR8

Four times today the Openreach modem loses connection i.e. red light is showing on the openreach modem.  Despite numerous restarts it connects again after 30 to 45 mins, and yet the sky broadband checker on my phone (connected by 4G) is showing everything is OK.  Says "can connect to router" which I find hard to believe as there is a red light on the openreach modem and no internet light on the sky router.

If your broadband isn’t working and you haven’t done it yet use this link to check to see if there are any broadband problems or outages nearby.

This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households.

If there aren't any then try running the line test here

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to call Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.

I attempted the servicechecker via my phone (as I had no broadband connection) and it repeatedly said all was OK (green ticks) despite the openreach modem having a red light, the sky router showing no internet connection light and the sky router status page showing as disconnected.  Did try to report it by calling but was on hold for so long that it ended up coming back up before I managed to talk to anyone.
