Broadband down. Service checker says it’s working fine, but it is not.
Third time this week that this has happened. One of the times last week the whole sky website was down with no warning about downtime. Customer should have bill reduction if service isn't available at all times.

At the time you've posted it may be essential maintenance taking place. This is carried out overnight wherever possible as most customers are asleep so may take place over a number of nights.

No isp will agree to that. The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you notify Sky of the fault, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account (new rates apply from 01/04/24 of £9.76 per day).

My broadband has been down all morning, we got up about 5:30 and there's been orange flashing lights all morning. The service checker says everything is fine, which is rubbish
