Broadband disconnection frequent
Well, my Sky saga has just moved up a step.
After having issues with my Sky Q service and having to wait until the 21st June for an engineer, I am now experiencing multiple broadband disconnections.
This started to happen a few days ago, but probably once or twice throughout the day.
Yesterday, the issue became more frequent with approx 5-6 dropouts (that I knew about)
Today, it must have rebooted half a dozen times already, kicking me off work meetings and disconnecting all the devices in the house.
Router stats are below:-
There are no noise figures available to me via that checker.

Re: Broadband disconnection frequent
@JosephtheDaddy as you are on a full fibre connection the stats are not particularly helpful. Given the hub restarted 17 minutes before they were taken not suprsingly the WAN connection has not dropped. If you restarted the router yourself leave the system running. However if the hub restarted on its own it indicates a fault. If you can rule out issues with its power supply then call Sky to get it replaced.
If the drops continue check what happens to the lights on the ONT unit. Green is good but a red light indicates an issue with the fibre feed.

Re: Broadband disconnection frequent
Hi Chrisee,
No, I didn't restart the router, it just restarted itself. Power supply is good.
I will see what happens over the next day or two.
Thanks for the reply

Re: Broadband disconnection frequent
Well, interesting.
I had a "spare" hub (an old one that was left by the engineer about 18 months ago.)
Swapped it just to see and I have now been 24hrs free with no drop outs.
Still having the Sky Q issues though, so definately not router related.

Re: Broadband disconnection frequent
We have had the same issue, received the upgraded hub and within 2 weeks the same issue returned.
Yesterday after an hour on the phone they agreed to send us a pod - it's arrived today and won't connect!
We now need to await an engineer so WFH is impossible.
